Last year I had a serious fire injury and was burned >60% . I was in the hospital for most of 2009 but back to work again. However, during this fire my both hands were badly burned and lost finger tips of both hands.

I have 485 pending and working on EAD. But not sure how this will impact my green card process ( if finger printing is required) or my reentry in US on Advance Parole. I would like to travel and visit India soon.

Any suggestions recommendations are highly appreciated.

Guys I will be going for my first H1 visa stamping in New Delhi. I am currently in the US. I transfered from F1 to H1. Have been looking into documents to take to the interview, and looking at so many 221(g) cases, have been confused by this term "unemployment wage report". I would really appreciate it very much if someone could please tell me what is "unemployment wage report" and how is different then "prevailing wage report"? Also, do I need to take both of them to the visa interview? Thanks!

I have an approved labor and I-140 (EB2) with a PD of Aug 03, since USCIS guideline says that the demand for EB2 India seems to exceed the supply of GCs, I am not sure how much longer it will take for my PD to be current.

My company has a approved labor (EB2) with PD of 2002 (with job requirements matching my qualifications). I have the following questions:


1. Can I apply for premium processing for the I-140 stage with the substituted labor?

2. If not, does it take longer to process I-140 with substituted labor than the normal case?

3. if I can get the labor with 2002 PD, can my company give my labor to someone else (especially since my I-140 is already approved with that labor)

Hi,

Gurus - I have few questions and I need your help:

1. My EAD/AP expires in June/July '08. Can I apply for their renewal now?

2. Will there be a finger-printing requirement for the renewal? We had finger print in June 2007 when we applied 485/765/131 together?

3. Is it better to efile or paper file?

4. I will be in India from April to June this year. I have an AP valid till end June. Can I file for EAD/AP renewal and leave for India in April. Is there any risk? I can still use my current AP to enter when I come in early June, right?

USCIS is reporting that as of November 6th, 54,900 H-1Bs had been issued against the 65,000 annual quota. While this represents a dramatic drop in H-1B applications over previous years. In 2007, nearly 200,000 applications were filed in the first week applications were open and in 2009, the application period is now in its seventh month. Usage seems to be about 1,000 cases a week so we're probably looking at January or February to run out of numbers. Hi,

1. Valid H1-B stamping, expiring in 2010
2. Trying to renewe EAD/AP (Didn't use both until now).
3. Instructions of I-131 has the following statement

If you travel before the advance parole document is issued, your application will be deemed abandoned if:
A. You depart from the United States; or
B. The person seeking advance parole attempts to enter the United States before a decision is made on the application.

My question:
1. Does my applying for renewal of EAD and AP affect my travel?

Hello
I came to the U.S when i was 12 from germany on a vwp and have stayed here ever since i'm 21 years old now married to a U.S citizen, I have all the papers filled out ready to send to the USCIS for AOS thru marriage to a us citizen but our attorney has warned us that there has been recent denials in these types of cases Im very terrified and clueless i dont know if i should proceed and go for it or just wait and see if anything changes.
Please let me know if you or someone you know has gone thru this.

Currently I am on H1B visa.I will file my 485 as secondary applicant.What are my options in case If I have to leave my job and my 485 is still not approved.

Do I need to file H4 (Since 485 is still not approved) ?

You can status will be Adjustment of Status ( AOS ) but cant work . IYou need a APO if you want to travel . If you want to work you need an EAD .

Check with attorney .This is the essence of mail which i got from my attorney when asked regarding my son status
