I have added my wife to green card application. Can you please let me know when she can expect receipt notice and Fingerprint Notice and when she can expect her GC. TSC is processing my/her application. My Priority Date is in Aug 1st 2006.
I am one of the ones who had missed the July 07 boat. My PD is finally current.
My attorney is getting ready to file all the items (485, EAD, AP etc) tomorrow.
How soon can I expect the FP Notice?
Also, since I am applying only now, how long before I can hope to see Green?

Hi,
I had applied for 485 without EAD/AP since we wanted to file it on July 2nd. Still waiting for the receipt. Recently our lawyer sent the EAD/AP application based on the new rule, with just the FEDEX receipt confirmation of the 485 application. However, he sent the application to CA Service Center stating that based on the new direct filing rule, it can be sent to the local Service Center.
Is that right? Anyone with similar experience or insights. As far as I know it has to be sent to the same service center where we applied for 485 (NSC).
Any document or FAQ from USCIS that can clarify this issue?

as biased as you'd expect, but useful. I am not bothered, I think most people are not as good as the gear they are using anyway. And besides, I don't stress about other cars on the street. Different strokes for different folks...!!!

I was applied my ssn on oct 9 th. still i didn't get my ssn number. two days back ssn people called and told that "in online it is showing your EAd card. so we can give u ssn if you bring the EAD card". My question is if i give my EAD, will the h1 get cancelled. please suggest me.
Dont worry, showing EAD to SSA office will not cancel or invalid your H1B. Goto SSA office and tell them you have both H1B as well as EAD.

May be we should push for 3 year EAD/AP . Our argument should be, if we are 3 or more years away ( like EB3 India is currently 2001 or something ), we should get 3 year EAD/AP
Not meant to talk only for EB3 community, but in general as well.

I am working on Windows 7 based application development in Silverlight. I have not been able to find a way to play a an audio file in windows 7 phone. I have been googling it since past few days but i could not get any solution of that. There is a class in C# with name SoundPlayer but i guess its not available in Windows 7 Phone.
Can anyone please help?
As we are sure that the August 2009 visa bulletin EB2 India date movement is due to spill over from higher priority categories, is there any way to find exactly how much visa numbers got spilled over to EB2 India and China?
